"For me,  writing has captured the freedom of expression and love for our beautiful planet.  I would like to urge all to do their part in saving our Mother Earth for  future generations to come.

We have but one chance to be the difference!

Conserve, Preserve, then Deserve! " (c)ambervmoonstone

Shades of Change

by Amber "V" Moonstone

10/22/08

The cool morning breeze,
swishes the leaves off the trees,
leaving pools of colorful leaves
to wilt beneath the solid branches.

The days of autumn are bittersweet,
temperatures change the colors
from green to brilliant shades to treat,
our eyes to nature's amazing canvas.

Orange, yellow, crimson red,
sends visual messages to my head,
telling me of imminent change,
this season does rearrange,

my thoughts and feelings
toward winter's dealings,
that drive the mind toward sadness
anticipation of isolated loneliness.

As each leave falls from the tree,
I see the strength of each full branch,
and find myself in a meditative trance,
connecting to the change of another season

It is so amazing to watch Mother Earth
continue to change and find re-birth,
So, we must take a clue from her,

Embrace change to grow and prosper!

"Enigmatic Thoughts "

by Amber "V" Moonstone

5/27/08

I am a vessel without a voyage
A vehicle without a map
A Journey without a destination
An adventure without an end.

A lover without a love
A clam without a shell
A ying without it's yang
A light that needs a harbor.

A means to no end
A traveler without a companion
A road of many turns
A voice that must be heard.

A life to be lived
A love to be found
A twilight of enigmas
A moonlit fantasy.

A destiny to be fulfilled
A moment lost in time
An hour in ecstasy
A day too long.

A week that has flown by,
A month to welcome new moonlit nights
A year of many changes...

What Am I?,

but a poet that loves to write from the heart!

author's notes:  I wrote this spontaneously, thought I would share it with you.

Much peace, love, and light,

Amber "V" Moonstone

"Our Only Mother Earth"

by Amber "V" Moonstone

03/07/08

Water flowing gently

sun setting

moon rising.

 Mother Nature at work

reigning her glory

giving us

her earth,

water,

fire

and

air!

 Elements to cherish

saving the earth from destruction

purifying the water for living creatures

using fire for warmth

and breathing in her precious air.

Why do we

abuse what is

given so freely?

 Why can't we

learn to live

in harmony

peace,

light, and

love of Mother Natures treasures?

We have been forewarned,

there is not another chance,

we must start to conserve,

and refuse to destroy

what is left to

Our only Mother Earth!!!!

If you feel that you are trapped in a situation that is impossible to get out of. This is a message to tell you, Yes you can, and it will be more beautiful!

If Only! (#2)

by Amber "V" Moonstone

4/28/08

If Only, the Moon would kiss your face
each time I thought of you.
The moonbeams would erase,
the loneliness of feeling so blue.

If Only, the Sun would shine down,
when your soul was cold and sad
and It could take away your frown,
then everything wouldn't seem so bad.

If Only, you would realize the truth,
and walk out that caged door,
You would know this was all worth,
the pain that lives no more.

If Only, I had a crystal ball,
I could tell you everything would be all right,
and you would be able to stand tall,
and your future would be beaming bright.

IF ONLY !

"Everyone Needs a Mother's Touch"
by Amber "V" Moonstone
5/15/08

While I sat eating breakfast alone,
I could hear your tone,
It was a bit of sadness
and emotions amiss.

I could not but feel
the pain that was so real.
You were talking about your mom,
and how she was emotionally gone.

You were only a mere teen
when she left the scene,
leaving behind all her dreams,
to become free it seems.

She is absent from your life,
and longer your dad's wife,
longing to regain back those lost years,
she has missed all your tears.

  You question her motivations,
while seeing her transformations,
From a mom, to a single woman,
a sight that is a bad omen.

You miss her so very much,
and long for her mother's touch,
But reality is quite clear
She has chosen not to hear;

Your cry for help and love,
so now you send it all above,
for guidance and reuniting
of a mother's love reigniting!

Tenderly  I say to you,
Give it time to improve,
You say it has been five years,
and way too many tears.

I offer my motherly love,
and words of the peaceful dove,
You smile and wash away some tears,
and thank me for releasing some fears.

I smile and walk away,
to start my hectic day,
and as I begin to pray
My soul knows that you will be okay!

author's notes:  This happened today, and as I left I saw a seashell that I had found on the beach on Mother's Day with my daughters, and picked it up, and went over to this young woman and gave it to her.  I filled it with Reiki energy and told her that whenever she was lonely or afraid, just to hold this shell and know that someone cares and is thinking about her.  I wish you peace, love, and light,

rip·tide (-tīd′)

noun

a current opposing other currents, producing violently disturbed water; esp., the strong, narrow flow of sea water that rushes seaward after incoming waves pile up on the shore

   "A Rip Tide"

By Amber "V" Moonstone    7/16/08

Have you ever been caught up in a Rip Tide?
You can’t go anywhere,
No matter how fast you try to swim,
You just tread water and stay in the same place.

Life can seem as though you are caught up in a Rip Tide.
You work long hours, sleep less, and eat irregularly.
feeling as though you don’t seem to be getting ahead of expenses,
No matter how much you conserve, it doesn’t seem to make a difference.

Energy costs are skyrocketing in this country,
You sometimes decide between gas for your car
Or buying groceries for the week.
You can get quite depressed over this economy.

When you feel like you are treading water,
Sometimes just a glance at a loved one,
Or the sound of the birds greeting the morning sun,
Can trigger the release of your anxieties.

You must remain calm,
Go with the flow of the your rip tide,
Stop fighting the waves of anxiety,
And find a way to swim to a safe shore.

Safety is the key to happiness,
When you feel safe,
You begin to erase, all the negativity
that keeps you captive to your rip tidal wave.

Slow down, relax, make safe shore,
a priority for the next few weeks,
seeking calmness of mind, body, and spirit,

No sinking beneath the rip tides of your life.

Peace, love, and light,

Amber "V" Moonstone

Death is the end of a life cycle, but it is also about the end of life's journey, and the beginning of eternal rest and peace.

"The End Of a Life Cycle"

by Amber "V" Moonstone     6/9/08

There are times to speak
and there are times to stay silent;

This is the time to tell you
I understand...

During this time of grief and sadness,
The darkest hours will grab a hold of you,
Sadness will be by your side,
and tears will flow like the river.

Your comfort will come from the knowledge
that it will get better,
you will survive this loss,
And you will be stronger.

Losing a loved one,
seems like the end of your life,
but in reality,
it is just the end of a life cycle.

Natural circles,
transform our lives,
Enhance this Earth,
and finishes journeys.

No matter how sad you feel,
life will go on,
and it is your duty to carry on,
fulfilling your chosen destiny.

I walked among a chosen people,
felt the energy of powerful spirits,
I am not afraid to die,
For now I know, spirits do live on.

I wish for you,

Peace,

          Love,

                  Light,

and the power of healing from this death.

author's notes:  Early yesterday morning, I was informed that two of my best friend's mothers had passed away, almost at the exact same time.  I dedicate this poem to Karen and Chris, and send my love, and healing energy to them at this hour of their grief and sadness.

If you find the process of making choices very difficult, you may become incapable of settling your mind on a single course of action.

"Spontaneity"

By Amber "V" Moonstone
5/4/08

When you are spontaneous,
you believe in your ability
to intuitively know what is right.

We are conscious of our own destiny,
and intuitively choose what is right.
Spontaneous choices affirm our intuitive mind.

Never falter from your intuitiveness,
it will always guide you toward your destiny,
and when you continue to be spontaneous,

You will reap the benefits
that will develop into your divinity
of supreme inner fulfillment.

Spontaneity,
Intuitiveness,
Fulfillment,
Destiny!!

author's notes:  I always go with  my intuitiveness and follow my spontaneity!
Much peace, love, and light,

The Olive Tree Express only transports, peace, love, and light.....

Olive Tree Express

 by Amber "V" Moonstone

 03/11/08

Arrival of spring
let's have a fling
like the birds so free
I call a freedom decree!

Let the fun begin
peace and love from within
shall shine like golden rays
and spread throughout the coming days.

Find an olive tree to emulate
for peace is sure to equate
our needs and desires for peace
and hatred and war to decease!

Flight of freedom everlasting
negativity blasting
only sunshine and good vibrations
shall accompany these transformations.

Climb aboard the Olive Tree Express
with Peace and love to impress
the diligent work toward harmony
come now won't you join me?
