Meet Me Under The Willow Tree
This is the beginning of a book that deals with the subject of Child abuse. I have written many poems on this subject, and plan to put them in a book of poetry, so that children can know that they are not alone. My goal is to write a sensitive book that will let children know that they have a voice, and that someone is listening. Speaking out about abuse is the only way to start to heal. "Meet Me Under The Willow Tree" deals with sensitive subject matter and is intended to be read by all ages.

Meet me under the Willow Tree
where the birds sing harmony.
Tender children of the night
craving joy in place of fright.
Solitude is there to be
gentle waves of energy.
Soothing minds and calming fears
erasing all the childhood tears.
Meet me under the Willow Tree
Where the pain can only flee.
Tender children of the night
bringing joy in place of fright.
Read a poem or a book
getting caught in it's hook
finding innocence under the tree
if only a few moments to be free.
Solitude is what you need
Positive energy to feed
your mind and body out of pain
to cleanse it through tears of rain.
Meet me under the Willow Tree
where the birds sing harmony.

replacing joy from all your fright!
Author's Notes: Another poem in a series about child abuse/domestic violence.. Pray for the children that are suffering within their own homes..They will survive, but how healthy are they?
