"For me,  writing has captured the freedom of expression and love for our beautiful planet.  I would like to urge all to do their part in saving our Mother Earth for  future generations to come.

We have but one chance to be the difference!

Conserve, Preserve, then Deserve! " (c)ambervmoonstone

“I Weep”

By Amber “V” Moonstone   11/11/08

I Weep for the lost Native American culture

I Weep for the boys that never became braves
I Weep for the girls that never gave birth

I weep for the senseless slaughter of peaceful people

I weep for the souls of all men that only saw battle

I weep for the countless nights that the squaws were alone

I weep for the Chief of 30 Nations when his daughter was kidnapped

I weep for that daughter that died on foreign soil at a young age

I weep for the son of that daughter that never knew his mother’s love

I weep for all mankind, for his faults, his, inequities and his ignorance

I weep for forgiveness of all souls that left prematurely

I weep for the Great Spirit’s unheard words

I weep for the abuse of Mother Nature’s natural resources

I weep for Mother Nature’s innocent creatures

I weep for victims of crime and unjust punishment

I weep for Your soul to be cleansed and rejuvenated

I weep for all people to live in harmony and peace

I weep for all people to remember what happened to our Native Americans

So long ago, and to never forget what they have lost!

"Living In The Moment"

by Amber "V" Moonstone   8/31/08

Have you ever just let life move through you?
Just relishing in the moments of your life,
Letting go of control and abandon rigidness.

Have no expectations,
enjoy each moment for what it is,
surrender to feeling in the moment.

The first thing you need to do is,
to give yourself permission to let go.
Once you do this, all possibilities open up.

When letting go of our hold on ourselves,
it gives us the freedom and energy
to embrace all that is new and meaningful.

When you take a walk next time,
consciously feel each step on the ground,
smell the air, feel the wind and savor the moment.

Look at a tree and it's amazing power
will fill you with energy to sustain your day,
filling you with strength and vision.

When you smell a flower,
really take in it's scent,
realize just how simple and complex it is.

Walk along the shoreline,
just far enough away, so that the waves
can kiss your feet with healing magic.

Tenderly touch a pet,
feel their response,
know that you can give love.

Kiss your child,
and realize just what a miracle
they really are to you.

Look at your aging parents,
find time to be with them,
knowing that you may not have much time left.

Fill your world with positive thoughts,
Stand proud to be YOU,
and always remember to live in the moment.

author's notes: I want to live in the moment, I wish you to live in the moment and live your life to the fullest.

"Sunset at Sound View Beach"

by Amber "V" Moonstone  7/31/08

Reflections of inner feelings,
seeking refuge by the shore,
tiny waves of instant pleasure,
coming to me once more.

As I walked along the sandy coast,
I peered at the heavenly formation
Of beautiful cloudy shapes dancing so freely,
sending waves of rejuvenation.

They seemed as though they
held the secrets to the simplicity
of life's pathway;
A  place where I yearned to belong!

Oh cloudy beauty, so far above,

Whisper to me what I need to know,
let me shed this gloom of loneliness
and walk amongst the lightness of love.

As the sun was setting, a golden glow
lined the edges of these darkened clouds,
sending brilliant radiant light
capturing magnificent visual splendor.

I was in awe of this beauty,
and felt the radiant light
penetrating my soul
as this darkness took flight.

On the drive homeward,
a storm blew in and left so quickly,
that it left behind
a blood red sun, to set.

author's notesI have been working non-stop for three weeks getting my theater shows finished for production..I took a much needed rejuvenation break at the beach, and I had this most extraordinary experience this evening.  I thank the Universe for opening my eyes and shedding beautiful light into my soul.

Much peace, love, and light,

Yesterday's Earth Day Celebration at Jeffrey Elementary School, prompted this poem among others. I will share them with you asap!

Believing In Yourself

by Amber "V" Moonstone
4/23/08

When you really believe in yourself,
Doors open to those unexplored rooms
of divine potential.

You may struggle to stay on task,
but focusing will reap it's rewards,
when opportunities begin to knock.

The biggest opportunity will arise,
while you are living your life,
and allowing those doors to open.

Always Believe in yourself,
and live with the knowledge
that you will receive what you desire.

Being blessed with this way of thinking,
 will enable you  to live
your truth and believe in yourself.

Always know that what you are doing,
leads you to exactly where,
You are suppose to be!

(This is my first poem that was published)

"Being Illuminated"

by Amber Moonstone 7/06/06

Where the clouds wisp across your surface
I see all that you are hiding.

Your illumination casts a great shadow
across my face

illuminating it with your healing energy
and grace.

I stand humbly before you;
Searching to find the surface

that will withstand the deepest
thoughts that flow through my mind.

It is but a moment in time
that shall remain so still

till the realization
of this illumination
fills me with your ever powerful
peace, love, and light.

I stand proud to be receiving
such energy and illumination.

I only want what I can have,
nothing more, nothing less.

I stand blessed to be
all open and ready to see

What this illumination has
in store for me!

Author's Notes: what can I say, but to be true to your heart, for if you break your own heart, it can be quite a powerful illumination!

Peace, Love and Light,
